COSHH Air Monitoring

The Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH) Regulations 2002 (as amended) confers legal requirements upon employers. They have a duty to control the risk of exposure to substances that have the potential to harm their employees. The first stage is to gather information by carrying out a COSHH risk assessment. This needs to cover the substances and processes that are present in a particular workplace. Usually it will require an air sampling survey that will measure exposure levels via personal air sampling.

Our experienced occupational hygienists are primed to undertake COSHH sampling on your behalf.
They observe processes, ask relevant questions and oversee the use of sampling equipment fitted to your staff throughout their working shift. On the day, the team will advise in brief the areas that need attention so that you can get started before a comprehensive report is delivered. Using the COSHH hierarchy of control, the report will reveal the key areas to focus on when developing your strategic plan. It will suggest workable, practical solutions.

Workplace exposure monitoring is made easy for our clients. Our approach minimises disruption to production and provides the necessary information to help you control your COSHH risks.
